Aimee was the latest girl to open up her door to Five Guys A Week – trying to speed up the dating process with the Channel 4 experiment.
The Oxford administrator, who was 22 when filming, had quite the mix of gents trying to woo her, with one being kicked out of her home each day until only one remained.
They were: Recruitment consultant Ollie, rapper Raquan, London construction consultant Max, 28-year-old investment banker Abz, and structural engineer Sam.
After whittling down the boys, she chose Abz after a final dinner between him, her and Max.
So what happened once the cameras were off? Were they able to make a go of it?
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Aimee said: ‘No, I think we were both just so busy.
‘Anytime we tried to meet up, it just didn’t work because both of us was very, very busy. It never really turned to anything.
‘We were never really committed enough to make anything romantic.’
They are still in touch, though.
‘I’m really happy with the decision,’ she said. ‘I definitely think it was a good choice for me. I think everything about him just suited me more.
‘He was really sweet. He was a proper alpha male, which is my type of guy, but alpha male in a way that’s not overbearing or overpowering or self-centered.
‘He was alpha but still down to earth, if that makes sense. He was just chill.’
When we asked her about her experience, Aimee had no regrets except one – eliminating Samuel so soon in the competition.
‘I think if I had the chance to do it again, I think I would have left Sam in for longer, just because my original reaction was that he’s very funny, but I’m quite serious, she explained.
‘I can take a joke, but I do often like to have deeper discussions, and meaningful discussion. Every time I started to have a conversation like that, he just wasn’t really interested.
‘He’d just sort of make a joke on it and then was very much like “moving on”.’
Though she didn’t find love, Aimee is still in regular contact with Ollie too – after he proved to be a lifeline for her during the daunting experiment.
‘Ollie was definitely more of a friend, but just having him there, he made my experience. He made me feel a lot more comfortable,’ Aimee admitted.
‘I sort of went to him whenever I felt, not intimidated, but when there’s that many cameras around you, you can sometimes feel a little bit overwhelmed.
‘I went to Ollie whenever I felt overwhelmed, but I think I did keep him there for as long as I did, just because I didn’t want him to go!
‘He was a really good friend but it got to a point after a while, I just knew it was not romantic at all. Like you are just a mate to me.’
Five Guys A Week airs Fridays at 10pm on Channel 4.
